Nightforce BR Benchrest 12-42x56 NP-R2 Riflescope C104, The Benchrest 12-42x56mm Riflescope brings Nightforce's legendary durability and optical quality to the world of benchrest shooting. It comes equipped with a sizable 56mm objective lens that utilizes a multi-element design like those found in the highest quality telescopes to focus light rays more precisely for exceptional image clarity and color accuracy. The lens is made from multi-coated ED glass, resulting in superb light transmission, brilliant images, and exceptional color contrast. The objective is adjustable, and allows for extra-fine focus to adjust parallax from 25 yards to infinity. Like all the other riflescope made by Nightforce, the Benchrest 12-42x56mm Riflescope's lenses are matched and aligned by hand in a process called optical indexing to ensure the highest possible optical performance. The eyepiece delivers fast reticle focusing, and the glass-etched reticle provides optimal contrast even in unfavorable lighting conditions. The turrets on the Benchrest 12-42x56mm Riflescope are capped to prevent unintentional adjustments, and are calibrated in true .125 MOA (1/8 click) values. The turrets can be re-indexed to zero after the sight-in process, and are equipped with a coil spring plunger return system to maximize tracking accuracy.
