As one of QuietKat's flagship eBikes, the Apex Pro comes equipped with a 1000w VPO mid-drive motor. This delivers unmatched torque, acceleration and power to easily overcome steep inclines and heavy loads. The motor utilizes Variable Power Output (VPO) technology to allow the rider to select Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, and Unlimited modes to adapt the Apex Pro to changing conditions. The motor is powered by a 17.25Ah battery, giving the bike a range of 25 to 52 miles* on a single charge, and can be charged anywhere via the included wall charger or by a mobile charger (sold separately) or a solar charger (sold separately). The 9-speed SRAM drivetrain offers precise gear adjustments for steep ascents and descents, and is built from high strength material to handle the Apex Pro's 1000w motor. The power of the 1000w VPO mid-drive motor is perfectly complemented by the heavy duty all-terrain 26" x 4.5" fat tires. These provide optimal stability as well as superior traction in adverse terrain such as soft sand, snow, mud, dirt, and rocky environments. To ensure maximum comfort on rough terrain, the Apex Pro features a 140mm KKE inverted moto-inspired air fork suspension system designed to provide a better damper and overall plusher feel on rough country. Other features of the Apex Pro include an integrated pannier rack to accommodate all your gear, from hunting equipment to work supplies and features an industry-leading 100 lbs hauling capacity. A set of Tektro 4 Piston Hydraulic Disc brakes to guarantee reliable braking on steep descents with heavy loads. In addition, the Apex Pro is certified in accordance to UL 2849 certification standards and guidelines set by the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission and is given a 109 Point Quality Assurance Inspection to ensure every last bolt and connection is checked before it arrives.
