The steel used in these EBC rotor blades is a special stainless bend with up to a 10% higher friction coefficient than the normal heat-treated stainless steel found on stock discs. This improvement in friction; along with EBC?s lightweight Square Drive (SD) System; results in improved braking power. EBC?s SD-System uses a square sided rivet; which allow the rotor to expand inwards and outwards unrestrained.
