Hold in place for approximately 10 seconds to ensure the tip expands and seals the ear canal. 3.Test this with the headphone turned off: clap your hands and listen to the sound level. If the earbuds are the correct size and properly inserted the outside sound should be significantly muted. If not take the foam tip out of your ear canal and repeat previous steps. 4.For maximum hearing protection turn Ambient Mode off (see manual for instructions).
