The Quilt is made from Climashield APEX insulation. APEX is synthetic, continuous filament insulation, meaning no cold spots! There is a draw cord at the shoulder and feet, along with a snap enclosure footbox. When in the "Quilt Mode", keep in mind you will lose ~3 in overall length, due to the cinch closure on the footbox.
