Black Diamond Tech Tip, Having the right gear fit for your personal needs can make a huge improvement on any adventure. With the Black Diamond Tech Tip, you have the ability to choose from two variations: Rubber and Carbide. Both are great for their own individual seasons or sports but to put it in a shorter version, Rubber is for summer, Carbide is for Winter.
The Rubber tip helps grab and hold on to most slick surfaces while at the same time prolonging the life of the tip.
The Carbide tip is great for grabbing snow and ice and being able to really dig in to the texture that your climbing on.
Works as replacement tip for our Spring 2012 and later only trekking poles and all model Z-poles. Does not work with First Strike, Trail Back, Syncline poles
