Peterson Cartridge 6x47 Lapua Brass, The 6x47 Lapua is a caliber used by top shooters around the world. But the 6.5x47 is also a great caliber for less experienced shooters, because it is an easy caliber to develop accurate loads for. Handloaders often talk about "accuracy nodes" which refers to how broad the powder charge can range and still produce consistently accurate shots. Some calibers have very small accuracy nodes. Also, with some calibers the frequency of those nodes is a lot less. But the 6x47 Lapua caliber has a large number of accuracy nodes and those nodes cover a broad range.
