Brownells Cotton Tipped Applicators, We first spotted cotton-tipped applicators in pro use when touring the beautiful gunsmith shop at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. Beside each vise was a handful of them where one could be quickly grabbed for a host of uses - lubrication, cleaning down inside actions, getting into barrel chambers and for touch-up bluing of spots on barrels, frames and sights.
