Lehoudini RS Aero Roadsuit S9 - Men's, Thanks to the march of technology, skinsuits are no longer just used it crits and time trials, they are becoming more commonplace in road races as well. Assos, always up for a challenge, now offers a one-piece suit that is its fastest ever, the Lehoudini RS Aero Roadsuit S9. Constructed with a keen eye towards optimized patterning and textile engineering, you'll be shaving time everywhere on your ride. The Assos Lehoudini RS Aero Roadsuit S9 is faster in a number of different ways. For one thing, it's designed with the brand's aeroFit, its trimmest, most speed-focused cut that's even tighter and more compressive than its racingFit. It might feel restrictive standing up straight and out of the riding position but it clicks into place and feels like a second skin while riding. Loose clothing is slow clothing and ripples in fabric flap when wind passes over them disturbs the air flow. A snug fit ensures low drag by eliminating extra fabric for the wind to grab. Assos also made the Lehoudini RS Aero Roadsuit S9 faster by mixing in different materials and using different paneling techniques. Materials up top are chosen to be soft against the skin and slipperier to the wind, while the butterfly paneling fully wrapping the legs and converging in the rear to form the new ergoBox structure keep you faster. Other materials utilized throughout don't breathe as well, so instead of building the entire suit out of it, it's used strategically. Likewise, it has pockets and sleeves constructed of Push Pull warp-knit textile with 50+ UPF protection. This fine gauge kit is highly breathable, has bi-stretch properties, and is quick drying and very comfortable. Since it's so stretchy, it's excellent in these locations where you need some movement and it accommodates varying arm sizes and contents in the pockets. However, if it made the whole suit of out this, it would be too stretchy so instead, it employs Type. 441, a patented 40-gauge warp knit developed specifically for compressive hold and silky comfort. Ultralight Leg Gripper with a light silicon treatment are woven into the leg bands, reducing fabric bulk and securing the shorts in place without any excessive pressure. This being Assos, there are a few things you can't see. There's a mesh radio pocket inside the suit. You can find it in the back, stitched to the seam between the top and the bottom, in the middle. They also utilize its much-lauded Triple Ramp Pockets tech for easy access and content security. Sizing is important on the Roadsuit, possibly even more important than it is for its shorts. Because you're supposed to stretch this skin around your body, follow the height measurement more closely than the weight measurement when deciding which size should fit you best. Since the shoulders have extraordinarily stretchy spandex, it will stretch to accommodate height. Since the Roadsuit is part of its latest S9 collection, Assos used its new mod. Dep S9 insert, a design that's evolved from its proven Equipe Evo. It reduced the overall footprint to shed additional weight, employed superAir microShock foam with a 3D waffle, and incorporated its kraterCooler system to increase airflow up front while taking additional measures to anchor the insert at the rear with its patented horizontal stabilizer. The mod. Dep S9 Basalt antibacterial microfiber top layer in 3D basalt colorway sits softly against your skin while also receiving its patented goldenGate technology that interrupts the stitching along the insert's side panels for more three-dimensional freedom of movement in this high rotational area.
