Their new gravel specific groupset Ekar certainly doesn't deviate from their industry leading history. The Ekar shifter is distinctly Campagnolo while also having its own unique gravel specific twist. The 3rd lever has been redesigned and now features a larger C-shape, making it easier to reach while riding on the tops. Campagnolo has also integrated reach regulation adjustments into its Ergopower levers, making it easy for you to dial in the lever reach. All Ergopower levers are finished with a laser-cut surface coating which helps to increase grip in any and all conditions. The lasered pattern is resistant to most weather conditions and debris that you'll encounter while riding on gravel. Vari-Cushion hoods offer consistent grip and comfort on any terrain. An Ultra-Shift mechanism allows you to shift up a whole three sprockets in a single throw up the lever. The single downshift has been optimized to provide crisp and consistent shifting. The Ekar caliper is designed using the same level of engineering as the Ekar Ergopower shifter. It stays faithful to the Italian style and high performance nature that Campagnolo are known for. The Ekar calipers feature the same internal hydraulics as the rest of Campagnolo's high-end calipers. Its mineral oil based system delivers class leading modulation, terrific stopping power, and exceptional feedback feel that's optimized for gravel. Ekar's new caliper design paired with the organic DB310 pads help to improve overall braking performance while simultaneously increasing wear resistance.
