They have longer travel than a trail bike but less travel than enduro bikes putting them in the sweet spot. The Rocky Mountain Instinct Carbon Frameset is capable of tackling technical trail riding but still allows you to push the pedals hard on the climbs. It comes with a SMOOTHWALL Carbon frame that uses 150mm of travel on the front and 140mm of travel on the rear. The frame features a press-fit bottom bracket, internal cable routing, 2-bolt ISCG-05 tabs, RIDE-9 adjustable geometry, and integrated frame protection.
