Wtb | Czr I23 700 Wheel Front, 12 X 100Mm, 28H, Centerlock, Wing21, WTB CZR i23 700 Wheel Optimized across the board WTB's new CZR i23 carbon wheels are WTB's first foray into the world of carbon gravel wheels. Utilizing their rim design knowledge and expertise, WTB were able to create a top notch rim that's optimized for gravel applications. The CZR i23 rims feature a reinforced spoke bed that's designed to improve the overall strength of the rim while simultaneously shaving off weight in areas that require less strength, a win-win for both performance and durability. The CZR i23 rims utilize an optimized layup that minimizes as much weight as possible without affecting the strength of the rim. Not only has the strength to weight ratio been optimized, but the carbon layup design is also the right balance of stiffness and compliance making the rims vertically compliant for rough terrain while also being laterally stiff for maximum power transfer. As for the internal rim width, WTB went with a 23mm internal rim width, which is perfect for a wide variety of gravel tire widths. One of the most ingenious features of CZR i23 wheelset is the inclusion of WTB's solid TCS strip. The TCS solid strip is a nylon strip that sits between the rim and tubeless tape to prevent the tape from shifting around or getting caught in the spoke holes. The smooth surface created by this setup makes mounting tubeless tires far easier and significantly reduces the chances of you losing pressure in the event of a broken spoke. At the center of the wheels we'll find the Frequency hub, an easy to service hub that offers a snappy 5-degree engagement, ensuring you're able to jump from the start line as fast as possible. Lacing the CZR i23 rims to the Frequency hubs are Pillar racing aerodynamic spokes. They're renowned for their low weight and aerodynamic design, making them both highly efficient at speed and when climbing up the steepest of hills.
