Fortunately, DT Swiss is on the case with their H 1900 wheelset. The H 1900 wheels feature a reinforced tubeless ready aluminum rim that's engineered to withstand the additional torque and weight of E-MTBs. A 35mm internal rim width is perfect for wider enduro tires and narrower plus tires. Lacing the aluminum rims to the hubs are DT Swiss's own Hybrid 1 spokes which are specifically designed and engineered to handle the lateral and torsional forces caused by E-MTB's. For the hub, DT Swiss went with their revamped 370 hub. The 370 utilizes a reliable design that's long-lasting and easy to service. The big change for 2022 is the inclusion of the Ratchet LN system which replaces the previous pawl system in the 370 hub. DT Swiss's Ratchet LN system is unique in that it utilizes trickle-down technology from DT's more expensive hubs to bring ratchet technology to the masses. The Ratchet LN system is superior to most pawl designs in that it distributes force more evenly across the ratchet system, effectively increasing the durability and longevity of the overall system.
