Arc'teryx Beta Shell Mitten - Men's, The Beta Shell Mitten delivers complete waterproof breathable protection, is highly durable and has a level of dexterity not expected of a mitten. Durable protection comes from N333p-X 3L GORE-TEX(R) fabric with tricot technology on the palm and fingers. Combining proven GORE-TEX(R) weather protection with a burly N333p-X face fabric and laminated TPU reinforcements on the fingers and palms helps eliminate the need for a leather overlay. This reduces overall weight, and, as leather can absorb moisture, helps keep hands warmer. N70p GORE-TEX(R) on the back of the hand has a lighter weight face fabric for improved breathability. All seams are fully taped to create a shell that completely seals out water, wind and snow. Designed to be layered over an insulated liner mitten.
