We Are One Union 1/1 27.5in Boost Wheelset, Pairing sturdy carbon hoops with a powerful and reliable hub system the Union 101 wheels are a true no-nonsense setup for ripping the trails with confidence. The We Are One rims are made in Canada using a special carbon fiber sourced from the USA and are known for their strength and positive ride quality. On a similar note the Industry Nine hubs are also made in North America precisely machined by experts of their craft using only the finest materials. Together they make for one helluva wheelset that can take on the toughest trails without skipping a beat--and without putting a massive dent in your wallet either. The hearty construction of the Union rims makes them a perfect candidate for enduro racing and a great option for aggressive riders that want to worry as little as possible about their equipment. Despite their toughness they are actually a bit lighter than We Are One's previous enduro rim The Agent yet offer a dramatic increase in strength along with improved radial compliance. This makes for a wheel that accelerates more quickly tracks better through rocks and roots and is better able to withstand impacts--an impressive feat considering there were very few complaints with The Agent to begin with. Though the 101 is Industry Nine's more economical hub option it still offers quick pedal engagement thanks to its combination of six dual-phased pawls and a 45-tooth drive ring. While it isn't quite as snappy as the Hydra hub it still brings to the table an impressive 4-degrees between engagement points with two pawls engaging at any given moment for reliable and consistent power.
