Its I-beam construction cuts unnecessary weight without decreasing the Alpha's overall strength and a deep secure rope basket ensures excellent handling and easy clipping. The hot forged bent gate also assists with quick clipping and the clean nose makes sure the carabiner doesn't clip the rope when your second is cleaning the route. DMM also added grooves at the back to give you a better grip when you're clipping.
