We don't fret if we only packed one type of fuel-the Polaris Optifuel offers one-jet cooking performance with both LPG gas canisters and liquid gas (kerosene, diesel, jet fuel, and white fuel). This stove features a patented quick-priming burner that cuts down on pre-heating time and boils water in just four minutes, and comes with an integrated magnetic cleaning needle that we use to quickly clean the stove, even while cooking. If nasty weather rolls in, we set up the heat reflector windscreen, flip the LPG canister upside down, and engage 4-season mode to increase the heat output, so we can boil water, even in rapidly dropping temps. When the cooking is done, the self-purging FLIPSTOP pump safely clears the burner of fuel and depressurizes the fuel bottle, permitting us to safely dismantle it before loading it back in the included stuff bag.
