It's the little details Cervelo has paid attention to that pushes the P-Series to the front of the pack and we appreciate the overall power stiffness and strength this bike provides. Whether we're getting from A to B in a gnarly training session or gearing up for a triathlon this is the bike that will take us further and faster. With a full carbon layup Cervelo combines material and shape to engineer the desired stiffness of different parts of the frame. In particular the optimized stiffness of the bottom bracket increases torsional stiffness. This makes for smooth handling at top speeds and even faster acceleration for as Cervelo claims "no wasted effort." We all know that the cause of most drag is the rider but that means our bike should be as aerodynamic as possible to offset this case. Cervelo tested the P-Series just like they tested the P3. In the wind tunnel and on the road the P-Series performs like no other with the result being less drag and more speed. According to Cervelo it's 26g faster than the P3 bare and 18g faster loaded.
