Hamilton Rifle Company 51, Manufactured by C.J. Hamilton & Son. The Model 51 rifle was the first Hamilton rifle to be chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge and has a 20" steel barrel. This rifle was made in between 1935-1941. This rifle's receiver is marked "Hamilton Rifle No. 51 .22 cal. S-L&LR Mfd. By C.J. Hamilton & Son Plymouth, Mich., U.S.A.". This has the factory original peephole & leaf rear sights, with the front blade sight. It can be broken down into two pieces by a single screw on the stock. This model has a bolt action that requires the firing pin mechanism to be pulled to the rear after the bolt is closed.
