It has been freshly shot blasted prior to cutting so it has clean cuts and surface. This is however surplus steel, it may contain some minor visual defects from long term storage. We have tested the steel and found it to be of very good quality.This product still holds a full warranty. They are still top quality targets, just not our normal stock.These 5/8" thick AR500 steel targets are made to withstand the most rugged use. Applications include ranges, clubs, law enforcement and whenever magnum caliber rifles are being used. They have been CNC laser cut to yield a minimal heat affected zone. Do not confuse these with cheaper plasma cut targets. Targets include 0.6" mounting holes to accept larger mounting hardware. Targets may be used for handguns and rifles up to 300 and 338 magnum at 200 yards, and 50 BMG lead core at 500 yards. Handguns should be used no closer than 10 yards and magnum rifles no closer than 200 yards.Targets do not ship with chain or mounting hardware.Targets are shipped unpainted.
