These guides are made to be lightweight without sacrificing rigidity or performance.Black Nickel/Titanium Single Foot Recoil Guides - Single-foot guides are made to be lightweight and encourage less friction than snake guides. The guides on the NRX+ rods are recoil which means they rebound when bent or crushed. More and more manufacturers are switching from snake guides to single-foot guides, and for good reason.Double Uplocking w/ Custom Reel Seat - The smaller NRX+ rods have a double uplocking reel seat with a custom walnut hardwood insert.
