Ixs | Trigger Am Mips Helmet Men's | Size Small/medium In Black, IXS Trigger AM MIPS Helmet Full noggin protection The IXS Trigger AM Helmet is an all-mountain-rated, half-shell helmet that is back and now includes a key safety upgrade. This new and improved version of the IXS Trigger AM features MIPS, a low-friction layer that help to reduce rotational forces from angled impacts. IXS's patented in-mold technology connects the helmets impact-absorbing EPS liner directly to the outer shell, reducing energy transmitted to your brain in a crash. The combination of the one-piece construction and MIPS makes for a helmet that can stand up to aggressive trail and all-mountain riding while remaining lightweight. A goggle-compatible, adjustable visor allows you to move the visor up and rest your goggles on top of your helmet. IXS fitted the Trigger AM with their Ergo Fit Ultra helmet retention system, which tightens with a micro-adjust dial in the rear as well as incorporating three vertical and three horizontal sizing adjustments for the best fit possible. For the finishing touches, the Trigger was given the beloved Fidlock magnetic helmet buckle for a hassle-free closure system.
