Staying hydrated. Water. Arguably the most important think to pack when you set out into the outback. Weather conditions, hiking terrain, and overall climate/humidity levels. Some will swear by formulates (quart an hour when it’s above 85 degrees,  24 ounces of fluid for every 90 mins – but experts say there’s no set in stone formula.  Our best guidance is to don’t overlook drinks that replace electrolytes – but even better advice, BRING A PORTABLE WATER PURIFIER. You never know what you will encounter. Worst case scenarios of getting injured or getting lost- the ability to find and purify your own water can save your life.  The most innovative products for 2013 are small, portable and can purify water in as little as 45 seconds and kill 99% of bacterias.
