Boker USA Plus Voortrekker Knife Black Small, Boker USA Plus Voortrekker Knife Black Small. The pocketknife was designed by the South African custom knifemaker J.D. van Deventer. It has a D2 blade with a light stonewash finish that doesn't lock when opened. The closed knife has a protruding spur that helps with opening the blade. When the thumb is placed on the spur while the blade is open it can be used as securely as a locking knife. The extremely light Voortrekker has a handle of black G10 and does not have a clip because carrying a clipped friction folder in your pocket is not recommended. Instead the knife comes with a compact Kydex sheath so it can be worn as a neck knife.
