Crank Brothers wanted to extend the lifespan of its Egg Beater design, and the new self-lubricating Igus LL-glide bearings are sealed both internally and externally to give the entire system a claimed 75% improvement in longevity. When you're clipped-in, you have the choice of either 15 or 20 degrees of float, and the lightweight aluminum and stainless steel body offers enough durability to handle both the roads and the trails without adding bulk to your frame.
