The Prosecco uses lightweight Prima Loft(R) fabric in the areas of the base layer that commonly cover bib straps, where full insulation can quickly become too much. This thinner fabric in those areas helps provide a more even distribution of insulation while providing exceptional moisture management for hard rides in cool temps. The Prosecco is ideally used underneath fall, spring, or winter layers as a means to wick moisture away and maintain proper body temperature. To help achieve this, Castelli uses a hydrophilic treatment on the Prosecco to improve moisture wicking. The Prosecco is perfectly at home under your favorite cool weather kit.
