The side rails feature 3D Curved Traction Rails to bite into hardpack or ice as you traverse a slope and a moderate heel lift of 16 degrees gives you a slight boost for ascending a hill without putting extra strain on your ankle and is easy to flip down when things flatten out. The Boa Closure System integrates the heel strap into the binding so you can obtain a precise fit with a simple turn of the dial.
