We built this midlayer with both the climb and the drop in mind--with 800-fill ALLIED RDS-certified down in the core for compressible lofty warmth that's also completely responsibly sourced. As we build heat on the ascent we open the hand pockets to let the excess escape while the breathable stretch panels wick away moisture. The jacket's backing has a 4-way stretch material that lets us easily navigate tricky kick turns on the skintrack.
